At Uruguay Steaks, we don’t believe the world ends at the borders of our ranch. We recognize that there are a wealth of organizations out there who are making things happen - whether they're bringing good works or just plain good ideas to fruition. And we're often lucky enough to collaborate with them in inventive, and often surprising, ways. Take a look at what we, and our partners, have accomplished, and see why we're proud to call them friends of Uruguay Steaks.

Toms founder Blake Mycoskie is taking on Argentina's poverty and health issues by donating a pair of shoes to a needy child every time a pair of Toms shoes is sold. We at Uruguay Steaks like these shoes because they're comfy and authentic, and because putting them on puts some good out there, too.

We think everyone deserves to experience the finer things in life, including arts and culture. Miami Light Project is a not-for-profit cultural organization that presents live performances, supports the development of new work by South Florida artists, and offers educational programs for students of every age. We're a proud supporter of this great organization.

No one should have to go hungry, which is why Daily Bread, a not-for-profit food bank in South Florida, is so important. The organization, established in 1981, helps other not-for-profit organizations feed the needy and educates citizens about fighting hunger and poverty in the community.

Being environmentaly sound is very important to Uruguay Steaks. Our resposibility does not end with the ranch, we are aware of our carbon impact to the planet by our shipping, storage and usage and to that extent have joined the Carbon Fund to help reduce our carbon foot print.
Sometimes the best foods are not available locally, so we have to use traditional transport to get it from our farm to your table. Please visit their website and see how you can help as an individual or as a business.
